Nº9 Atelier was founded in Paris in 1998, above a small workroom on Rue Cambon where every pattern was still cut by hand. That workroom is now four ateliers across France and Italy, but the rule hasn't changed: every piece is made in small runs, fitted twice, and finished by hand before it ever reaches a rail.
We don't chase every season. We build fewer pieces, cut properly, in cloth that's worth keeping.
